Flex’s annual user conference was almost a month ago at Four Points by Sheraton on International Drive in Orlando, FL. The training sessions were hosted by our CEO Chris Stein, Senior Learning Specialist Branden Rosenlof, and Sales & Customer Support Lead Lisa Fossler. More than 55 Flex users and future users learned all things Flex — from basic crash courses to more advanced workflow functionality. At the end everyone came away with new tools, techniques, and best practices to implement back at the office. The Flex team got a lot of positive reviews and constructive feedback in the process.
Thank you for a great conference last week. For us, I’m glad we put off our attendance a year so that we could join you with some real-life experience in our own heads. We are already benefiting from what we learned. — Stephen M. Paulsen, Lowing Light & Grip
Rainy and muggy Orlando
This time of year Florida is especially prone to rain and humidity, but the rain just didn’t let up. Alex Kay, one of our users, couldn’t have put it better.

Meeting our users
Meeting our users is always the best part hosting our training conferences. The people in our industry are some of the kindest, smartest, and most down to earth folks we’ve ever met. The best part? They are passionate about their business, the industry, and making it all work together through Flex. They come up with some interesting ways of using Flex to meet their unique needs — so we all learn in the process.
Monday Night Social Mixer with a side of Flex5
On Monday night we held a social mixer where attendees had the chance to network, relax, and make some friends. We exchanged stories from the the front lines of the AV and Live Events Industry while Chris Stein, Flex CEO, introduced attendees and visitors to Flex 5, our HTML5 rewrite of Flex.
Jason Harmer Demos CrewDriver
We were lucky enough to have Jason Harmer of CrewDriver as guest speaker at our conference. He demoed his software during Lisa’s Labor & Staffing talk and inspired a lot of engaging discussions and questions on crew scheduling and team communication.
